On September 5th, the social security numbers and names of 4,457 Cobb-Cherokee Career Center customers was emailed to 1,000 unauthorized persons by error.  Within 10 minutes, a followup email was sent to the recipients asking them to destroy the email.  Equifax credit monitoring is being offered to the victims and PERC has been brought in to help the Georgia Dept of Labor (GDOL) to evaluate and develop their agency policies.
