This weekend on Saturday, a 40 year old woman entered the Terminal 2 area at approximately 0445 UTC which resulted in a search of the terminal for several hours.  As a result, over 60 flights were delayed by at least half an hour while about 330 flights were actually cancelled for up to 7 hours impacting more than 32,000 passengers.  Passengers waiting in planes were not allowed to exit.  The terminal is primarily used by Lufthansa.  

The airport chief has indicated that the security breach may total more than $1.2 million.
