Last week, Cisco Talos revealed several vulnerabilities were present in the firmware of Samsung Smarthings Hubs.  The Hub enables many devices such as LED ligh bulbs, cameras, outlets, and thermostats utilizing Internet-Of-Things (IoT).  The firmware communicates with various mediums such as Ethernet and Bluetooth via a Linux platform.  The platform was discovered to have vulnerabilities which could potential allow unauthoirzed activities such as unlocking a home or exposing camera footage.  Samsung has since released a firmware update 000.022.00014 (22.14) for the SmartThings Hub.
